Initiatives to Prevent Harassment in Recruitment Activities

Basic Policy on Recruitment Activities

Rapidus Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) conducts its business activities with respect for human rights in accordance with the Rapidus Human Rights Policy.
In its recruitment activities, the Company respects the character and dignity of all job seekers, including participants in company information sessions, internships, alumni visits (OB/OG visits), and other recruitment-related activities. The Company strictly prohibits any form of harassment of job seekers, as well as discrimination on the basis of age, gender, nationality, race, ethnicity, skin color, disability, marital status, form of employment, sexual orientation, religion or creed, social status, or any other such factor.

Specific Measures

① Contact with Job Seekers

  • As a general rule, all communications with job seekers from the time of application until they join the Company are handled by the Human Resources Department. Employees outside the Human Resources Department are prohibited from contacting job seekers directly unless the Human Resources Department has informed the job seeker in advance that an employee outside the Human Resources Department will contact them.
  • The Company may contact job seekers only through official communication channels designated by the Company. Employees are prohibited from contacting or otherwise communicating with job seekers through personal social media accounts, personal email addresses, or personal messaging apps.

② Meetings and Related Activities

  • As a general rule, meetings held as part of recruitment activities must take place in settings visible to third parties, such as Company facilities, school facilities, or open spaces in the surrounding area.
  • When a social gathering is held in connection with a company information session, school visit, internship, or other recruitment-related event (each, a “Recruitment-Related Event”), the Company takes appropriate measures to ensure that participation is entirely voluntary. As a general rule, one-on-one social gatherings involving food or drink between a job seeker and an employee are prohibited.
  • As a general rule, Recruitment-Related Events and any accompanying social gatherings must end by 8:00 p.m.
  • Before holding any meeting, Recruitment-Related Event, or accompanying social gathering as part of recruitment activities, employees must report the relevant details to the Human Resources Department and obtain prior approval.

③ Selection Process

The selection process is conducted fairly and objectively based on each job seeker’s abilities, aptitude, and ability to perform the duties of the position. Accordingly, the Company does not ask questions about matters unrelated to job performance. Such matters include, but are not limited to:

  • Marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, or other life events
  • Romantic relationships or other aspects of an individual’s private life
  • Religion, ideology, beliefs, or similar matters

Training for Employees Involved in Recruitment Activities

To prevent harassment and discrimination in recruitment activities, the Company provides training to those employees involved in recruitment.
